Standing and looking out at the waterfront in Vancouver.
I went down to the waterfront and read for a while. The relaxation was great. It's also beautiful here. From my bench I saw the Vancouver harbor, seaplanes taking off, and dozens of different people. The person behind me was speaking German to a friend.
I stopped at a Future Shop to pick up a monitor adapter for work, and I returned back to Pedro's to eat some tuna sandwiches.
In the evening, we both went out and had a few drink's at Jan's house. Nothing crazy though. I must take it easy.
Y
es, I managed to sleep in despite my early bedtime. But I certainly did not let the day go to waste.
I loaded up my backpack with a book, a computer and my iPod and I set out on the streets of Vancouver to do some exploring. I stopped first to say hello to Pedro, Jan and Joel at Starbucks, but after that, I was on my own.
I made a few stops at local cellular shops to check on my options for mobile phones. I found out the iPhone will be released on Rogers in the 4th quarter of this year, so probably in October. That's a long time to wait, so I might hit up a pre-paid phone for a while. But we'll see.
