T-shirt Friday
This is what my eye looks like two days after its initial flare up. Still red and evil looking. Like the terminator.
Expensive t-shirt in hand, I went back home and got ready to go meet Joel and Jan down at the pub for a few beers. This ended up being quite a bit of fun. I found that Kokanee was on "sale" for $4.50 a pint. Unreal, still, but not as bad as it usually is up here.

We sat on the deck and talked fairly late. Summer is slow to arrive this year, but it was a beautiful night.
I
t's been a long time since I've bought a new piece of clothing. Actually almost a year. On limited income, well, clothing becomes less important to buy.

But today I revived an old tradition: T-shirt Friday. Once upon a time I would spend my Friday lunch break or the hours after work on a leisurely drive to the mall and I'd pick up a quick t-shirt.

So today, after work, I drove down to the shops on 4th Avenue and browsed about. Apparently t-shirts in Canada are twice as hard to get sent to the country, because they're TWICE AS EXPENSIVE. So maybe T-shirt Friday will become a bi-weekly tradition.
