Sunny skies
Are scenes like this about to disappear? Doubtful.
Outside the giant windows of the room I was in, I saw people wearing shorts. Actual shorts -- and it wasn't some sort of bizarre young attention ploy. It was real shorts weather outside, for the first time since last fall.

In the afternoon I rolled up to Manito and took a nap, and then went to see Marci and Scott and watch Lost.

It's weird to think that Spring is going to make a resurgence so soon. I'm ready for it. We've had snow on the ground long enough.
H
ands down, it was the nicest day of the year today. How could I tell? When I opened the door to the truck after it had been sitting in the sun for a few hours, a rush of warm air came bursting out of the cab. Ah, the sweet feelings of summer.

So Spring may be on its way. Today, after dropping off Mom at the airport so she could take a one-week trip to Virginia to see her brothers, I drove into town and hung out on the Gonzaga campus a bit. I ate plenty of free food, and then relaxed and did some writing.
