Lunar Eclipse
This is how a lunar eclipse looks through a tiny little digital camera. Not good.
Then it turned blood red. That wasn't so delightful. I prefer the moon to look a normal color, thanks very much. This orange/red is just ... eh ... disconcerting.

My boss wrote today to tell me that, although she wasn't able to get the original space for which she had signed up, she was able to pick up a new space today, even closer than before. This one looks far more promising, she said, and she will be heading to the Vancouver business license office tomorrow. Wish her luck.
T
he eyes still hurt plenty good when I woke up this morning. Again, the extreme sensitivity to light. It's as if I'm turning into a real-life vampire. I can't stand to look at bright things. It makes my soul hurt.

In astronomical news, there was a lunar eclipse tonight. I've not really witnessed one of these in my lifetime, so it was a sort of treat. Mertz came home and, over a fresh warm pizza, we watched with delight as the moon slowly disappeared behind Earth's giant shadow.
