Barnacle and Mom take a look out the window at all the snow outside.
I
was skeptical still of my mom's request that I stay in Spokane last night rather than drive home in the snow. She said the roads were terrible.
She was right.
The snow was deep to a somewhat epic level out at home today. Drifts have reduced our way home, Wood Road, into a one lane road in many spots. Driving through the snow requires punching through the drifts, which makes the truck get a little shaky.
Once safely home and in the driveway, I bundled up and prepared for what might be a long wait. The snow does not seem to be stopping any time soon, and for the first time since we've lived there, we might be snowed in.
