Another Six Weeks
Another sunset! Lots of sunset pictures lately. Coincidence?
T
oday is the six week anniversary of the application acceptance for my work visa to Canada. Rather than being greeted with news that my application is approved, I was told that an entire set of forms had not been properly submitted. The lawyer working out case forgot the forms, or neglected them, or something.

I had new forms sent to me which I had to scan and resend to the lawyer, who will then resubmit my application.

In turn, this resets the clock on my waiting period to 6-8 weeks from this day.

Frustration is too simple a word to describe my feelings. Panic is also a sense that is beginning to creep in, as my unemployment checks will stop coming very soon.

I am deeply concerned about this situation, and not sure what my future holds. The worst part, still, is that the government could simply decide to deny the application. We'll hope for the best.

Although I know you need a job, I can't say I'm not thrilled still having you around.
