Early to Late

Sitting during the food bank meeting tonight.

he morning began a little early with a staff meeting at Fred Meyer, and work went on as usual. I got a story ready and then went into downtown to stop by the office and also to take a tour of the large food bank distribution center. It's incredible how much food they send out, and it's amazing that so many people need that food in this area. I've been wanting to volunteer after work doing something to help out the community, and I think the food bank might be a good place to spend some time.

After work I attended the food bank board of directors meeting that I missed last night. Apparently it was tonight. I'm pretty much caught up on the ways of Spokane food banks.
