Thank you to everyone who visits and especially to those who write and leave comments. You remind me of why I do this. It's been a fun time so far, and I hope to keep doing it into the future.
So here's to another 1,000.

ell, here we are. We've reached 1,000 entries. That's two years and 270 days. 1,000 different days, 1,000 different photos, 1,000 different words to say. All of the text on this site, when condensed and put into a word document, makes almost 500 pages of text. That's quite the book.
And every day seems like something special and new. I thought I'd grow tired of this little project after a few months. Now I'm getting close to starting a fourth year, and I keep snapping photos with my poor broken down camera, and writing whatever comes to mind about simple days.
People ask and wonder and just don't quite understand this site, and I guess I don't really either. But to me it's the story of a life. Everyone has a story to tell, somehow. And this is how I tell a really boring one: this is my life. Here you go. There are mundane parts, sad parts, beautiful parts ... but all of them come together and form a site that almost starts to border on one of the only things I've done that I think is artistic.
it's the passing of time that makes me stop and think about a little ditty called "seasons of love" from a broadway show that i saw in new york city called "rent": "how do you measure the life of a woman or man?"
