My new shelves: all pine, all the time. They actually turned out well and I have a place to put my piles and piles and piles of stuff.

oday I slept in again, but I wanted to make my day productive, so I decided to build the shelves I've been needing to build. I bought the wood a while ago, and now it's ready to go. And it looks really good too! It's quite surprising, given my lack of ability to do many simple housekeeping things in any adequate form. I can not cook anything that doesn't come in a box, but I can build a seven foot tall set of shelves from scratch like nothin'.
The rest of the night is being spent working non-stop on my Native News stories, which just need to get done soon. Hopefully this won't take too long.
This feeling of pride is something I haven't quite experienced since my gardening days last spring, and don't worry, I'll be planting seeds and flowers before you know it!!
Oooh, Bob Vila, watch out! There's competition in the neighborhood..... The shelves turned out nice Chris - now if you know the difference between a chop saw and a miter saw, I'll be really impressed. ;-)
way to go on the shelves.
(ok, i know thats lame, but i can't think of anything witty, cynical or even interesting to say.)
hope things are going well over in montana.
